Assist Children with Special Needs

In everyones life there are persons who teach us, in a very quiet and unassuming but profound way, something about the meaning of life and the dignity of human beings. For us at Hope for the Village Child, some of these are our children with special needs.

Partnership Against Poverty (PAP)

While adopting a holistic approach to tackling poverty by understanding and acting on the overall context, the thrust of ActionAid approach and strategy, is designing and implementing programmes that are aimed at promoting the achievement of basic rights among the poor and excluded people. Empowerment of poor people to claim basic rights, building local institutional/organisational capacity, advocating and influencing policy changes are at the heart of ActionAid work. ActionAid major approach to work is engaging in partnership with organisations like HVCF to strengthen them and to build a larger movement against poverty.

Youth Groups

Youth are the future of a community. HVC reaches out to youth interests through organizing footballs matches for the young men, and focus group discussions for the young women. These activities centre around themes such as HIV/AIDS.
